This year, the Chesapeake Chapter of the American Printing History Association (APHA) has finished its second annual collaborative calendar. Each month is printed by a different member, and showcases the diverse talents in the group- there is a range of printing styles, from completely hand-set type in wood and metal to photopolymer plate and digital prints combined. All sales go to the chapter to support visiting printers, shop tours and student scholarships. As Vice President of the chapter, I organized the project and put the calendars together.
